Hello Aoife. I’ve just discovered the lovely song Ansacht Na Nansacht and I’ve loved the way you sing it. Unfortunately I’m French. I love singing Irish songs in English but I can neither speak nor sing in Gaelic, apart from the chorus of the song”Siuil a run”.
I’m also a guitarist and playing this song is just very much enjoyable to me. Yet, I feel frustrated not to be able to sing it. Though I’ve seen an English translation, this one doesn’t sound suitable to sing. Is there an English version of this song ? I’d be very grateful if you could help me.
Best regards
Dan
I can remember walking down the main street in Letterkenny in 1996, when I was 26. I heard some music out of a CD Store and I went in to buy the CD “Aoife”. I still love your music and like to listen to it. Best regards from Germany. Matt
I heard you in Whelan’s, Dublin and would like to know how I can purchase a copy of Aoife. I later heard you at a Coulter Concert at Symphony Hall, Boston.
I would like to hear more of your music. Thank you. Leo Murphy

Hello Aoife,
Is it still possible to get the album ‘Aoife’ (1996)?
Just heard a track, from it, ‘Níl sé an lá’ and it sounded beautiful!
Regards,
Dónal
