Calm the Soul
When I was contacted by the Poor Clare Sisters to ask if I would like to take part in the recording of Calm the Soul, I didn’t hesitate when I listed to the track and read the words of the poem, I was captured right away.
The words are so meaningful and I’m sure we can all relate to them. The beautiful melody and arrangement by Ian Callanan and the contribution of all of the artists on the recording her certainly enhance my experience.
It was an honour and privilege to have taken part in the project.

Thank you so much for your beautiful music. I was listening to some of your pieces of music today on St. Patrick’s Day and it brought to mind my Irish Hertiage and the love of my extended Irish family. Yes even with a 13 letter Italian last name, my first name is from a Tipperary family. Thank you also for the 100,000 welcomes. Peace and bless you. Alan Cristantiello. Pembroke Pines, Florida. USA.

Hello Aoife!
I am from the US and I just wanted to say thank you for your beautiful music. I wouldn’t have found it had it not been for your vocalization of the best is yet to come. It is one of my top 3 favorite songs in the whole world and I don’t think it could be any better thanks to your voice (it gives me goosebumps every time I listen to it!). I am sure that I am not alone in this sentiment and I am sure that many many people carry your music with them on their phones and music players thanks to that song.
Anyways, keep up the amazing work!

Hi Aoife, I can’t seem to find a contact for you. I was just enquiring if you still performed church wedding ceremonies? You sang at my best friends wedding a good few years ago in Dunlewy. Your voice is amazing. I am based in Donegal.
